Urasawa's "Monster"

Post by Black Mamba »

Has anyone started to read this 18 volume manga? Only 2 have been realsed in the US so far, but those two are very good and full of suspense. I don't read much manga, but I definatly will be following this series closely.

What do you guys think?

Watched some of the anime and I got my hands on Volume 1-2, which in itself was quite an effort due to it not being (AFAIK) released in the UK yet. Dr. Tenma is from what I've seen your archetypal self-righteous doctor, but by the same token he's a very complex and intresting character who's never entirely firmed in his resolve. It doesn't constantly throw ideas at you but it's still more intellegent than most, and the art is superb in detail throughout. :)

I'm glad to see someone else is enjoying this franchise.

I'm currently reading the manga and wait for the anime to get licensed in the US. I'm sort of sick of waiting, but there are no active torre--.

Uh....
