How different is the manga from the anime incarnations?

If you look around at a few other topics you can find the answer to your question. The most striking difference is that unlike the end of the comic and the first (and second) movies, in SAC Motoko hasn't fused with the puppetmaster (yet?)

So so far in the TV series she still remains as Motoko.

The show, the manga, and the movies are there own seperate incarnations of GITS.
