No clue, she has a habbit of having girlfriends lounging around in her spare time, even in Stand Alone Complex.
Still, the ones from the manga are cute as all hell though. :3

Noooope. I think that those characters were just clients of hers. As you probably saw in Masamune's footnote in the index, dealing that drug they were all on (among a few others, I wouldn't doubt) is a side-business of the Major's. The girls were more than likely just present to build that portion of her character.
Though, correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not completely sure about this, either.
