A friend of mine turned me on to this 3d rendering based on the original films.

Just amazing work.
People tend to look at you a little strangely when they know you stuff voodoo dolls full of Ex-Lax.

They've now completed the shelling sequence using the new 3D model.

It's pretty epic.



Also I just sort of had a thought while watching it. Where the prosthetic body "peels" and reveals skin color underneath. With white being a color connected with death in Japan is this sort of a way of saying that the body is coming to life? Or is it just some artistic thing?
