I've got a question concerning the Major and the Laughing Man in 1st Gig.

*some small spoilers I guess*

So, during episode 22 (Scandal) when the Laughing Man comes to the Major in the hospital (when she is about to get her new body / to be killed) the Laughing Man enters and says something like: "Did you know that this is the third time we actually meet?"

So I was wondering: I only noticed the Laughing Man at the end of episode 9 (Chat Chat Chat), when the Major is force transferred from the chatroom into the library. But when was the other time they met? In the end of episode 21 (Eraser) when Imakurusu was killed, it is only Batou who sees him (and is then being eye-hacked). The Major is nowhere to be seen. And in episode 11 (Portraitz) it is only Togusa.

Have I missed something? I would appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

I've been puzzling over that myself. Maybe he was brain-diving that security guard at the police brass function, along with Baby Ruth?

Bear in mind he constantly hacks eyes in real time, he could have stalked her.

the first time they "met" is when she detected a presence around the hall when the SP's got infected by the Virus, this is revealed with her conversation with the older guy in Chat Chat Chat.

the second meeting is in the episode Chat Chat Chat, where LM's friend forces her to transfer and she see's him stood there in his Parka Jacket.

The third is when she is getting her new bod.

Oh, I see. I always thought that she detected the guy from the chatroom. I guess I should have paid some more attention.

About the eye-hacking thing: Then they wouldn't have literally "met" as he says.
