Here is a link to a webpage showing the menu shots and features that are going to be in SAC 2nd Gig Volume 1 in Britain, http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releases/ ... d-gig.html

On the cover, they have Motoko's hair being blue, which I don't agree with and the menus look to plain, just a green circle, the region 1 menus look much better.

Wow, 20 pounds, that's like $40-$50 right? I got the American version of the DVD for $20 at Suncoast, but then, things are usually less expensive in the US.

Actually it's 34 US dollars. Not that much more expensive, at least if it's special edition. I prefer the American style, though.

Bah, I know. Waht with one boxset every 2 months I either become poor, or wait over a year for the boxset. Or torrent, but that's not really an option.

Advice?

I know this option involves a long waiting period, but it could be cheaper to buy the SAC 2nd GIG DVDs when they are all released in one boxset.

Where the first gig episodes every realsed in a boxset? I always thought that the special edition of the last volume came with a case to put all the volumes.

I could be wrong.

In Britain, all of the seven volumes of the first season of SAC were released in one box set, to see an image of the British box set, click on http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B0 ... ZZZZZZ.jpg

Don't know if a complete box set was ever release in America.

Yeah, animé DVDs cost more, generally.

Most standard albums can be had for about 10.00, ofthen the more expenisve ones are special editions. I've never, ever seen anime soundtracks for sale in the UK though.

Back on topic...

I just saw how the cover said "From the Creators of Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle". May I ask what Hayao Miyazaki has to do Innocence? Can't beilve I never noticed that...
