I recieved a vauge reply from Amazon telling me they were going to correct this problem, though I could not tell from what they said exactly how they were going to correct it.

Me and Amazon are friendly friends again. They made up for their mistake and appologized.
Im glad, cause I buy way to many things from them and would hate to have to stop.

I've watched Anime-Kraze's fansub of 1st GIG Episode 14: Y€$ and it started by showing four screens with text describing the background of the Y€$ currency (feel free to tell me the ASCII code for yen, I only have € and $ on my keyboard ). I figured that nifty extra stuff like this comes with the DVDs, but now that I got the boxed set of the 1st GIG from Amazon.co.uk, I didn't get any extra information about Y€$ on the pertinent DVD, only four character profiles (the girl kidnapped by terrorists, the rich guy, tachikoma and the boxer), two interviews and trailers.
So now I wonder what else I might have been missing out of. Is it a difference between region 1 and 2 DVDs, or did that extra information about Y€$ come with a special DVD of some sort? Or did Anime-Kraze read it somewhere else and decided to create their own info screens?
Aside from that it was nice to finally understand some of the more strangely translated (by fansubbers) dialogue.

I didn't get any quizzes on my DVDs (that I noticed anyway), though I did get episode summaries. And on the last DVD they had exchanged the character profiles for info about cyberbrain sclerosis, micro-machines and the Murai vaccine (or something like that, one theme for each episode, unlike the character profiles which showed all profiles on every episode on that disk).
been keeping an eye on 2nd Gig Vol 5 DVD and this site seems to have some info on the LE version..
http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=ABD025231
this site seems to say the same thing
http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?PID=7048857
seems its coming with Figures, not sure what figures - i assumed it would be the togusa figure to complete the logo. (from megatech)
anyone have anymore info on the LE edition?

I have read in multiple places that SAC 2nd Gig Volume 5 LE will come with three figures, Togusa, the Major and a Tachikoma, I am sure that the Togusa figure is definitely going to come with this release and the Major figure could also come with this release, the alternate Major figure is of her on her knees with wires wrapping around her and binary code that is imprinted on the mold.

any one seen any confirmation pictures about the figures in hte LE?
i agree that they are the above but you never know..
with only 3 weeks until release i'm suprised nothing has surfaced (many sites still dont' even have the cover art)..
seems like Ep4 LE stuff was out about 6 weeks before it was released..

On the Right Stuff website, there are images of the two models that come with the fifth special edition DVD.
