in the shell

I was wondering if there is a thread for GITS wallpapers somewhere? I'm working on a 3D Motoko wallpaper, but it won't be done until next week.

There is currently no GITS wallpaper thread that I know of.

Oh, I just found the IMAGES section outside of the forum, but in In The Shell (neomythos).

Those images gave me some good ideas, so I'll hopefully have something neat to post in a few days!

Here is what I got in progress, but I have a lot of work to do.

You'll recognize this pose, I'm sure.

I still have to make the cords plugging into her back, but I probably won't make the gun.

I hope no one is offended by the nudity.

the nudity isn't the problem here, but the breast really looks odd ... like sub-par stripper implants... other than that, it seems to me like a very good rendidtion!

Looking good! I've always thought it would be fun to redo some of the sequences in GitS (the tank battle pops into my head) in CG, just for kicks. The thought of ruining it always keeps me back. What are you using to model her, do you have any other models, and will you animate any of it?

Edit: I agree with simon's ghost though, the breast is a little peculiar. they should be hanging more, instead of stickin out like that, if that makes sense or helps. Cheers again.

Thats definatly pretty cool looking! Her her boobs are too big though (yes, too big). The objective of CG is to keep it real looking..... Has Motoko had plastic sugery on her prosthetic body?

Its *drool* worthy non the less.
