LEGO Motoko Kusanagi and Fuchikoma

Post by Qwuff »

Since I'm a fan of GitS and LEGO, I figured it would be pretty cool to mix those up. I made two Motokos, and I gave one to my girlfriend and fellow GitS fan. And so, I present to you my version of Motoko and a Fuchikoma:

I realize the scale is off, and only in one illustration did a Fuchikoma have that color scheme, but other than that I'm pretty pleased with it. I thought you guys might like to see it.

Yeah, pretty cool. But while Motoko is easy enough to recognise, the shapes of the LEGO bricks don't do the fuchikoma any service. Would probably need to be bigger, not so much for scale as for the ability to smoothen the surfaces out.

I remember seeing an official (unofficial???) Lego set of the the Fuchikoma (maybe it was Tachi) and some of the Sec. 9 members. I wish I still had that link, but I lost them all recently. =(

Still, your LEGOs are cute ^.^

Now that's what I'm talking about! The bigger you build the more accurate it can get. :D

But it is sort of hard to get enough pieces in the right colour sometimes. I always start on something with the greatest intentions, only to have them shattered as I get to the point where I've run out of bricks in that colour. And I have a lot of bricks, too.

Great models, by the way!
