New GitS Project {UPDATED AGAIN}

On Twitter, a fan requested a Season 3 of SAC, and Kenji Kamiyama made a vague response of hoping to report something new. Speculation begins in 3...2...1.

On the tails of what looks to be a box office flop from Paramoumt...Production I.G isn't slowing down. A new Ghost in the Shell project, jointly directed by Kenji Kamiyama (SAC) and Shinji Aramaki is in the works now. What that project will be....who knows? Very little details.
I am hoping for the complexity of the SAC world. At the same time, I am intrigued by Aramaki's role, as he has been pumping out a lot of CG film adaptations.
Good news is that GitS has not been killed by any means....and will continue to have many incarnations.

It's happening! Two new seasons of Ghost in the Shell. This new iteration (no dates given) will have one season directed by Kamiyama and the other by Aramaki. Who's on first or second not yet known.
With Shinji Aramaki on board, my guess is that it will be CG.
