Is this place dying?

I think this place will never die, as long as there are people, curiously longing for discussions on a sophisticated level...

okay, okay..I pushed it too far...
but, in my opinion the truth is: If you are patient and try to be an active member (not just this "read only"-type...every member has got the permission to wirte,...as far as I know ^^) you´ll see this place will (hopefully) last a long time...

I was thinking that I might go through and read old topics and "revive" them, but I'm too lazy for that, and don't have quite enough time.

Yeah I was hoping people would be discussing more of the philosophy behind Ghost in The Shell like cartesian dualism and the Sarte quotes, theory of mind, etc etc. Any of you guys read the books? I can't get enough of the series so much so that I bought all the books.

Sry for the odd subject entry, but past experiences have taught me to be vary as a new member. Acc to wikipedia a film will be made-by steven speildberg! I hope they are right.

Yes, I have seen that info too. I tried learning more from a few other related web pages, and what I have compiled is that info may be somewhat dated at this point.

Doesnt mean that it wont happen, but the longer the silence after the fact, the less of a chance of being a reality. But thats just how I look at it. I know nothing of the movie industry nor the backlog they have, so it could very well be on the do-to list.

Not much Jeff ! I'm still teaching, but I just graduated! I'll be getting certified to teach in September which is super exciting!

I'm really glad to see that this place is still around. Now that GITS is on Netflix I have tons of catching up to do.

(I probably won't be around too much, since my other moderator/rp/work duties keep me busy, but I just thought I'd stop by to say hi)
