"Amibivalence" was delightful--I'm reluctant to say which bits of it I particularly enjoyed since I don't want to post spoilers... I was wondering about the black boxes in front of the judge's bench in "Trial." They look like they are based on the boxes one sees at Motoko's trial...

Windows thinks I need CorelDRAW, Visio, or Microsoft Digital Imaging Pro to view this file. None of which I have. Do you think you could post your art in another format, schoolyx?

I use Opera, so all I got to see was a black screen with the top menu. Sad
I'd post a copy of the magazine article I originally saw the lenses in, Gillsing, but I haven't the foggiest notion how to attach images to my forum postings. I'm so computer illiterate!! (collapses weeping onto keyboard)

But some directors put it there to draw in female fans. It's only natural that something like that would happen. For instance I just watched a director interview with Mahiro Maeda who added certain hints to Gankutsuou to draw in female fans. I was thinking more of the ones who don't , but the fans ...

I've never heard anything about manga/anime being viewed as seedy in any way. And I haven't ever really gotten any flak for my fandom. Maybe it's because so many of my friends and co-workers are science fiction fans--or because there's a fairly large Asian population in this area? About the closest ...

I enjoy a lot of the yaoi that's out there, actually. Partly what Jeni said about seeing one's favorite characters getting intimate, or appreciating pretty male bodies. But also partly because of the subversion factor. Sort of like the artists pick up on the homoerotic element in the male bonding th...

Wowzers...How is the read? Is it a hard one? How big is the book?
It's not the easiest read--I had to read it twice to figure out what was going on--but well worth it...
