Well there's no mention of a 3rg Gig yet. There'll be an Individual DVD but it will be just like the Laughing Man OVA. There's onlt a sentence used by Kenji Kamayama. He says that we might see SAC 3rd gig soon but not neccecerily as a series. And that quote grew old. What you say seems possible thou...

What they did with EVA was only about the budget.They made the ending again when they found money.

...and I bought the 2nd gig official log and I think it's better. Very well organized and has some comics like pages in it. It is cool and offers very nice drawings. The dvd that comes with it is also amusing. Looking forward to buy the 2nd one.
