Hey, at least its not as bad as an anime with the Kanji subtitles, Romji subtitles, and english subtitles all on the screen at the same time (yes I have seen animes that were like this).

I also like celtic music, its one of the few varieties of ethnic music that I like (unless you consider british rock ethnic music). I like celtic music because it is very dramatic and employs lots of string instruments.

The girls I've had the misfortune to meet that do like yaoi are often kind of odd (I say misfortion because they have all been girls that I haven't much liked, not due to the fact that they like yaoi). The ones I've met have all been the female equivalent to very obnoxious fanboys. As to why they li...

You forgot the one snake demoness. She was nude pretty much all of the time, and she had a snake come out from between her legs. And there was the shadow demon who controlled women by "fingering" them.

I like animes with sad endings because, in the US, most TV shows have a (at least somewhat) happy ending (or get canceled because they are getting bad ratings). I did however like the ending of Star Trek: The Next Generation, it had an intelligence rarely seen on American TV. It's nice to have some ...

I like indie rock in general, and my favorite band is R.E.M.. I am also like british rock (which tends to get lumped together with indie rock here in the United States). I also have a certain foundness for music from the 17th and 18th centuries (classical, chamber, baroque, etc.), shich I like to li...

I think the puppetmaster has a male voice in the Japanese version. If that is true, then it would make sense to re-dub the english language version with the puppetmaster having a male voice. Back in the early days of english language anime, companies were more prone to errors such as these.

Fallout 2 : The Encounter that takes you back in time to Vault 13. There you touch a computer and you break the waterchip! Still Fallout series have many great other scenes to talk about. I also liked Fallout 2. I don't remember ever going back in time and breaking the Vault 13 water chip though. I...

In no particular order. Halo: The Silent Cartographer My favorite part of Halo was fighting Hunters (the big guys with the shields and cannons). I loved getting up in their face, dodging behind them as they tried to melee you, and then one shot kill them in the back with a pistol. The reason I like ...

Black Mamba, if you have the Ghost in the Shell Special Edition DVD, check out the trailer for the Ghost in the Shell film, the English dub differences are featured in that trailer. I noticed that and thought it was weird. I had assumed that it was a dub only used for the trailer (because they hadn...

Did you come up with this yourself or is it from SAC related resource? Also, why did you make this? Our threads usually begin with a question, not an answer. On a side note, I thought that "(The) Ghost in the Shell" refered to the puppeteer, a ghost existing in an empty shell (one without ...

Voldo is just as disgusting as always, maybe even more so. He still rasps, he has that nasty "air hump" move (where he gets down on all fours with his face up and bounces his opponent through the air by thrusting his pelvis), he has his swimming move, and one of his outfits now involves a ...

I've seen Ninja Scroll, it was OK story wise. I think the main reason people watch it is for the sex and nudity. I remember some time ago (back on the old forum) Sylphi talked about bad experiences with Ninja Scroll, she might be able to elaborate on why she doesn't like it.

Hmm, is there a link you could post that would give us more information. Maybe the longer version was a directors cut. If we are talking about the VHS versions, there was a special edition that had an extra section at the end about the making of Ghost in the Shell. I do however think that the versio...
