This is why I said that the Neurochip is the only case where a non-organic component possessed a ghost...cause it was. Even though Motoko is one of the most cyberized people alive, she is still in possession of a mostly organic brain. The Nuerochip, if you read Shirow's own essay on it, is meant to...

In SAC the characters are supposed to be younger than in the movies, where they all are a bit weary of their jobs. They have been doing their job together for some time, already, though. In the manga the Section 9 gets offically formed in the start, though it seems that they've been doing freelance ...

MiNaeClem wrote:It plays as the other opening of 2nd gig which is a great opening imo.

Opening? The opening of the 2nd Gig is Rise and it's in no way similar to the Christmas in Silent Forest. It's a nice musical piece, no doubt of that, though.

Then why did the Individulaists target all those organizations and people who were supporting the refugees including the refugees? Because they are fanatics without need for common sense. The discussion between Kuze and his Individual comrades gives some understanding to what they are trying to ach...

Check out this site and it's few latest news. Listen the podcasts, too. The project's getting alive, again, even though it's still undoubtedly years away from completing. And the way it's creators to be are discussing about it, they seem to be very serious about it, as well. Whatever it's going to b...

I am intigrued by it and it certainly interests me, but I'm not going to be exited, before it at least goes a bit farther to production. The last news are, that ADV has gathered 100 million dollars of the 120 they require in minimum and that Weta is willing to start at the moment Halo is ready. So I...

The very first slash fiction was written some time in the 1960s or 70s by some female writer - can't remember the name - and it told about forbidden love of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. In anime, yaoi is directed to female Japanese audience, who appreciate sexy males without disturbing female presenc...

Yeah, they said it in the interview, that Ocean's 11 was the inspiration. And indeed, I noticed in the first time I watched it, how so many things seemed exactly like in the said movie - especially Major's sudden appearance from the elevator shaft and the appearance of the vault, itself. And ofcours...

Well, I like many kinds of music, though I prefer melodic tunes. That doesn't mean they need to be soft, though. There are metal bands that I like. I also enjoy many classical pieces, as well as Celtic music, as long as it isn't too New Age. And ofcourse soundtracks, which I propably listen more tha...

At a school assembly I remember the persentage that woman that look, or have looked at porn is like 65%. I think that was it. I just remember it was pretty high and surprised me. I think it's really higher. Not everyone answers honestly in polls, even though they remain anonymous. Ah, the silly cul...

I don't see why they just don't realse one OST for each gig, how its normaly done, containing all the music. Two words: making cash. They keep the fans' interest up and make us buy more and spend more, than if all music of one season was on a single CD. I haven't seen a single OST per season for a ...

I heard that OST 3 will be included with the 2nd gig Volume 3 SE. And OST 4 is not released anywhere nor there's any other info about it. I think you counted the Tachikoma OST too. Yeah, I did. I presumed, that so did you. Isn't "be Human" techically the OST 2? I can't think of many songs...

Isn't there a CD included in the next 2nd Gig Manga DVD SE? Would that be it? Anyone know what else is on the CD. I would like it to have the syphonic tracks from 2nd gig. The one in the volume 1 was OST 2, but I've heard rumours, that there'd be a CD included in the volume 3 of the special edition...

I believe you're taking this ghost creation thing very lightly. Far from it. It's only that our definitions of Ghost differ, somewhat and you are still taking the stand for the favour of the organics. "What if a cyber-brain could generate its own 'ghost'?" wonders Kusanagi -- with the &qu...
