As for a third season of SAC, Solid State Society film is not going to the end of Stand Alone Complex and more SAC will be coming out.

I have finished reading the second novel and it was amazing, the novel has three mini separate stories to it, but each story links from one to another.

The third novel that is coming out is called White Maze.

I also got mine today, the tin box to hold all of the volumes looks so much better than the the first season's tin box, I like the artwork on this one and the slots to fit the SE volumes in (to me, it looks like there will be room for the SE volumes not to get stuck. The design of the bigger tin case looks great, but it wasn't designed to hold the smaller tin cases from the other volumes.

I saw the visual guide in the comic book near me for $30, it might be translated into English but it will be a while before we see it in English.

Regarding Official Log Volume 2, GITS Sac Official Log 2 is being put on hold/ discontinued about 4-5 months ago. Manga Entertainment claims they will still publish it, but Right Stuf received information that it was discontinued with no pospective release date.
