The reason that the human brain is, and always will be, superior to a computer AI is that the human brain is almost infinatly adaptable. A fetus that suffers brain damage early enough in development can simply cram most of the necessary neural functions into the reduced brain area (there will be som...

How could anyone vote for Innocence over the original movie, it is in no way superior. The first movie had a much better story, better animation (despite it being eight or nine years older), and it focused on Motoko (she is the main character of Ghost in the Shell after all). None of you seem to hav...

A full body cyborg's lifespan is limited only by the lifespan of the brain. Since no one knows how long a human brain can live barring the death of the body, it is unknown how long the natural lifespan of a full body cyborg could be. It should be noted that in the episode that you are mentioning, Mo...

As for invisible planes, you just need to give a stealth plane a black paint job (which is what the military does). The stealth coating and design keep the plane from being detected by radar and, since most assult missions are flown at night, the black paint job keeps the plain from being spotted vi...

Aluminum oxide is actually what forms sapphires, it is also what makes aluminum cans sturdy in that a thin layer of aluminum oxide forms on the surface of a can giving it a hard outer layer.

It's Cartoon Network, so they will probably be dubed just like all the other anime shown on that station.

I all I know is that everywhere I have checked (Neuroscience textbooks, other books on Neuroscience, my Psychology Professors' lectures, and online sources) has said that neurons never renew.

It would probably be better to implant a chip such as this in ones wrist. The wrist is fairly mobile, but unlike the hand it does not grasp things and also does not have nearly as much tactile sensitivity.

"I think of many things, therefore many things exist" Who is this quote attributed to? Its a falacy of logic in every ontological paradiam. The quote "I think therefore I am," proves that you exist in that you are thinking, not because you think that you exist. It does not imply...

I said "under normal circumstances," adults can regrow PNS cells almost as easily as other cells, and new CNS cells can be formed, but the neural connections of the cells that they replace are lost forever. Also, if neurons replicated and self renewed as you claim that they do, your pre-ex...
