I remember the episode, I think it's the one woth the old shop where Motoko gets sucked into a dream about her childhood? The one involving here and a character who I assumed grew up to be Hideo Kuze? *snaps fingers* that's it - Paper Cranes! Anyway, I haven't heard the music anywhere else but ther...

I always found Mitra to be an exceptional actress.

Aside from how extremely dominant and border-line frighteningly leaderish they make her in movies, in real life she's absolutely stunning and looks like a cover model!

Had the pleasure of seeing her in Chicago.

Aramaki's Brother in 2nd Gig?

In the second to last disc of Season 2, Hideo Kuze goes to the Refugees in Dejima. While observing the refugees in their efforts to begin their war for autonomy, Hideo's confronted by an old man who is interested in meeting him. The old man never stated his name, but I could have sworn it was Aramak...

Or how about Asian people for Saito, Aramaki, Togusa, Motoko, Ichikawa, and whoever else is actually Japanese?

Batou I always imagined to be a frenchie for some reason, and Saito possibly Chinese, but otherwise, Japanese people.

Not sure what happened to Jeni... she was teaching I think somewhere last I knew. Hopefully she's doing okay and is well, and doing something she loves somewhere.. Yeah, I think a lot of us can hope to be in the boat of that wish. :) Boy, when I first started here I was a child. Merely a child. It'...

Unreleased songs.

I cannot for the life of me find this song!!! I own 13 different Ghost in the Shell soundtracks, all of which are official, 17 if you could repeats, special editions, etc. Either way, this is from the 2nd episode or third episode on Disk 3 of Season 2. The song I'm talking about is at the beginning ...

GhostLine wrote:very much a character driven film...a lot is put into character development and takes the time to show pauses and thoughtful reactions. music was great, story really draws you in.
Glad you thought so. I'm absolutely entranced with this film.

Huh? When'd you hear there'd be new characters? I just bought it, loved it, and am rather happy with it to say the very least, Eva being one of my favourite series.

As for the other DVDs, any clear idea of when they'll be coming out?

We're a rather quiet, but certainly devoted bunch. :) We appear once in a while, and when we do, it's never pointless or reasonless.

Hope that we'll compliment you well, as you us, and all of us, this place! ^^

Welcome Chroma!

Hmm that'd be interesting. None-the-less, I'm just curious to hear about any progress.

The Kenji Kawai concert is spectacular. I bought the DVD of it, and it was worth the 40+ base price. SOO gorgeous.

He also performs several pieces from Panzer Cop series, and the Reincarnation performance was just....breath taking!

Who's still here?

Obviously I am. I perhaps have the most insane activity on here considering how no one else really talks. At all. :P Either way, for any GitS fans that are still present here (hopefully some from the days long gone) you guys should post a skype address or two, or whatever other contact info you have.
