I have only seen Avalon and I really enjoyed it. It shows a technical wizardry often not seen in American movies. Kenji Kawai knocks it out of the park with one of his best scores. The effects are great. Its kind of an artsy fartsy Matrix... :)

Episode 6: Encoded Truth / QR Code

EPISODE 6 An American Aircraft Carrier a safe distance away from Japan. Admiral Campbell lectures Colonel Holden from behind a desk. The Colonel is defending his actions. “I am in charge here. I have actually seen her take many single shots as well. But I see your point...Burst fire will be added. Everything else ok?

I don't see her focusing on that so much. Other members do, mind you.

(he said a whole lot ) :) Well, we're going to have to agree to disagree because there is no evidence either way and we are talking about opinions on how we interpret what people say. I can see your reasoning on the Neurochip but will keep my point that the Tachikomas are the most advanced AIs in r...

Cool plot. More interesting than quite a few episodes of SAC. Makes me wonder how much you're railroading your players and how many of the decisions are their own. For example, did they have a chance of knowing about the international treaty regarding spacecraft on foreign soil before they were sen...

Slipstream, did you think or made effort on creating the stats of Sec 9 members? If you did can you share them with me :) Actually, if you download the game PDF, there is an added chapter...kinda like a Monster Manual for GITS. In there are the stats for all Section 9 members.... Here is Motoko, fo...

As I wrote before, neurochips exist already, at this day and age. They are computer chips designed to act like neural patterns. In future technology it will be possible to construct them so complex, that they can indeed emulate human brainpatterns. Look at the dates. The first Neurochip developed i...

I remember a similar topic being discussed before the crash. I put forth two theories dealing with Ghosts... The Unexplained Ghost Transfer Theory Perhaps in the future of Ghost in the Shell, the idea of moving from your Shell is a far off from Science Fiction as the story is to modern day. People d...

I enjoy BSG even though I think it tries too hard. The conflict the characters go through seem forced, like they are overdoing it. And the subplot of Baltar and his subconsious babe/villian almost ruins everything (its been done and better on other shows, least of which was the recently concluded Fa...

Here is result of the research I discovered for Stand Alone complex. I know the manga differs. Section 9 was formed years before SAC1 (maybe as much as 5), but after the events of the Laughing Man so its assumed to have been the same year or the year after. The Laughing man incident occures barely m...
