It's a shame that in many cases it's harder to reimburse the artist for their work, than it is to simply find a torrent...

I still haven't seen the movies.
I think I started watching a few times... but I still can't recall the ending. Which means one of two things:
1) I haven't seen them
2) I was playing a video game at the exact same time, which makes it rather hard to read the sub-titles.

Well, I guess I wouldn't be surprised if there was a cybernet in 20 years. Or not too surprised in any case. I would be surprised, however, if there were Tachikoma level, Strong AI's. It's my opinion that when one makes a Sci-fi tv-show like this, it's better to just skip putting a date altogether...
