There's a lot of more explicit content in the manga!
*points to the random, rather questionable, spread in the 2nd edition version*

Sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone know if the R1 release will be straight to DVD rather then airing on Adult Swim?

I have a question! Does this OST contain a Origa single? Both "Inner Universe" and "Rise" are amazingly epic, I'd love for another one.

Is this series any good? What is it about?

What do you mean? Are you talking about the fact that it doesn't have a dub track?
Or the fact that it lacked proper subtitles?

Or the fact that the cover art was ugly?

Or just the overall all fact that Dreamworks abviously can't handle an anime realse?

The original just ozzes atmosphere, its truely an anime classic.

Innocence was too confusing and lacked Motoko's awsomness.

Not to mention the absolutly crap that is the R1 realse.

Is there an original Appleseed?!

I've only seen the newer, CG version. Would that be a remake?

I've been looking for anime with that classic 80's feel. Do any of those movies resemble Ghost in the Shell or Akira is terms of style?

Style = music, art, story, ect.

This is actually good new imo. With the original right-to-left format, the story will flow much better imo. I'm still waiting for a right-to-left version of Ghost in the Shell and Akira. Damn you Dark Horse!!

The only reason, I bielve, that the R2 realses have only two episodes is because its in Japan. And in Japan anime is alot more popular and they can get away with only puting two episodes on each DVD. Its just a marketing technic, thats all. In North America, anime is not as popular so having 4 episo...

Is there a chance of AS perhaps airing it? Seems like the stereotypical anime they'd grab up. Or could it be too violent?

it's a bit silly and eletronic most of the time, but there are some great remixes of video game music on www.ocremix.org. Yep, I really enjoy some of the stuff on OCremix. My favorite still remains to be "Terra in Black". A celestial/rock arrangment of FFVI's "Terra". You should...
