personally I currently stand on the side of a cyberbrain taking information word-for-word as from a mechanistic view of the brain surely the change of information is a function to fill in the gaps in imperfect information of sensory perseption and thought(unlike a 'perfect' file). acting in much the...

on thoughts and files...

ok so this is a strange one with a bit of backstory so bear with me. I was proofreading/editing a cyberpunk short story a friend of mine was writing for a competition and it leant on a concept that we came up with together about the interaction between external information and an electronically augm...

tails is my homeboy because he's the charming little underdog support character I always played when my brother played as sonic in sonic 2/3/&knucles on the megadrive. In a one player game sonic is more fun though speed is just a cooler superpower than flight.

I saw a tourist wearing a laughing man symbol bandana, so that's floating around somewhere unless it was a homemade affair. He's lucky he was out of range of a rugby tackle otherwise i would have pinned him down and demanded to know where it came from.

SAC motoko is my fave visually, when she's been drawn in something more substantial than the pink swimwear/officewear combo outfit she looks good. :p

all i know is the text in the eye says 2501 and hadaly (stating the obvious this is the name of the gynoid model and a robot from the novel 'Tomorrow's Eve'/'l'eve futur'). reading way too much into this (like every good obsessive fanboy should) the 2501 would suggest that the eye belongs to the gyn...

I could only find the innocence dvd as a boxset with the first film :( (that makes 3 copies i have of GitS 1 now :p) As a long time hater of dubs and flag waver for subs i was suprised how good the english dub is, which is a good thing because to me the subtitles seemed a bit odd. Prehaps they went ...

:( my firefox doesn't like quicktime so i can't see it :( the first couple of potential scripts for X2 involved sentinels and beast, they're bringing in the beast so maybe the sentinals will make an appearence in this film too. On the other hand the concept of the sentinals does seem a bit too carto...

Why is manga less respectable than kiddyporn?

Anyone else get shifty looks or smutty comments(mainly from my flatmates :P) when standing in the borders manga section? I mean, what's the deal with that. Back in the day, manga and anime had a slightly seedy reputation in the UK(i don't know about elsewhere) but these days almost everyone has hear...

I find that i enjoy most music regardless of what category it fits into; Classical, renaisence, IDM, Trance, Rock, punk, heavy metal, Jazz(only jazz with no lyrics, saw Dave brubeck in concert in tokyo once :)), electronika, surfrock, basically anything but baroque/drumn'bass/techno. Anything that c...
