Oh ... that's great!!! I like the way they subtitle what they're saying--in German! Makes me want to go find the original Nena video ... I can't even remember it at all. actually yes. It was quite fun. Cool! Never thought anyone would say yes to that one ... but did someone almost go through your fr...

I used to listen to Ministry (even the pop-80s version! and up through Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste), Skinny Puppy, NIN, etc. That was all on the tail end of my punk days, back in the early 90s ... * sniff ... nostalgia * Further back it was bands like The Clash, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, 7 S...

Small site update: I've added my review of Solid State Society. I loved the middle, was bored by the beginning and wasn't sure about the end. You can see it here: http://www.neomythos.com/intheshell/solidstate.shtml Also, the little logo in the corner of the Boards keeps evolving. Thank Saito again ...

I may shift to phpBB3 at some point in the near future, but not quite yet. Version 2 seems to be working just fine, and the various mods I've used (anti-spam, etc) are also working. I want to wait and see if there are any bugs discovered in v3 and sort out whether I can use the same mods (or if I'd ...

Penumbric magazine, unfortunately, stopped publication at the end of 2004, so it doesn't exist except in scattered bits at the Internet Archives. Did you try to get there from the link on the front of neomythos.com? Now there's another part of this domain I need to update :) I'm glad you like the si...

Yeah, I was amazed to discover I only had a few images from each thing (and nothing from some of them--I had to get official pics from some of the production companies' sites). Plus I also see that my GitS film pics are the ones I captured from videotape before the millennium ... I'm slowly ...

Virtual Idols
Because I was going through old articles I'd written (I'm updating my business site, too, just a little), I found this one on virtual idols and thought I'd post a link to it ... http://www.jgdesignworks.com/Idol_October2k3_issue.pdf (172 KB) This has always been an issue that fascinates me ... --Jeff

Interview with Kenji Kamiyama posted (from 2002)
Hi! I've finally reposted my interview with Kenji Kamiyama and Yoshiki Sakurai from 2002, when SAC was not yet out. Nothing new in it, but I figured it might be interesting to have online. As it was done for Penumbric magazine, it's actually at another site (my business site), but hopefully it will ...

A giant plasma TV?! I'm jealous! Or I would be if I had anywhere to put one. (Have you ever tried to put a flat screen facing out from a corner? Somehow defeats the whole idea.) We just watched Solid State Society (!), a few episodes of Last Exile on TV, some Bubblegum Crisis ... Hmmmm. I just got t...

There's at least one other: http://www.neomythos.com/gitsphpBB/viewtopic.php?t=222 I'd swear I must have posted what I was listening to as well, but it's not in there ... so maybe there's another one. * shrugs * It doesn't matter, though--I really don't mind having it as a new topic. (I can always m...

Thank you for the compliments! I wish I had a short answer for why I wasn't around, but I don't, really. My business has really taken off, so I'm incredibly busy (I laugh at those commercials that tell you being your own boss means you'll only work part-time and rake in millions--I'd work fewer hour...
