It plays as the other opening of 2nd gig which is a great opening imo. It also plays in the 26th episode.

Opening? The opening of the 2nd Gig is Rise and it's in no way similar to the Christmas in Silent Forest. It's a nice musical piece, no doubt of that, though.

Rise is the 2nd GIG opening. I have only heard "Christmas Tree" at the end of 26. Its a good track and I can't wait to get it with the next soundtrack

I have the alternate opening video. I'll inform you if I upload it somewhere.

I never heard of an alternate opening for SAC 2nd Gig!

Does anyone know if the alternate opening contains the Rise song with different visuals or a different song?

From somewhere I've read, that the piece played in an alternative opening would be GET9, but I've never gotten definative conclusion of whether it actually exists. If you can get a link to a download, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks for the link to the alternate opening, it has a great song and excellent visuals, but I have to say that the Rise opening song suits SAC 2nd Gig better than Christmas in the Silent Forest.

Get9 was the alternate opening for the first series but I didn't see that myself. I love this video very much but I agree that Rise opening suits better.

Are they playing 2nd Gig on Adult Swim now? I missed it the other night but a friend of mine told me it was the beginning to season two.

I know the rules aren't up, but one of our previous rules was no filesharing or links to places you can get the soundtracks or download the anime (since it's been released in the US already in English and can be purchased). Sorry but dems the breaks.

(What you do on your own time in PMs however is up to you).

Umm...But this opening isn't available even as a DVD's extra, at least yet. It's more like advertising than a copyright-crime.

I already PMed Jeff. I tend to go a little overboard when it comes to this stuff. Sorry.

If you guys would just do this in PMs it would save me so much hassle.

Alright, no worries. If it happens again it'll be on PMs.
