Anyone know how's SSS doing in Japan?

Anyone know how's SSS doing in Japan? Some of my japanese freind told me the story of SSS is probably the easiest one to understand, I kinda expected that since it is a 110min OVA. I am just wondering if SSS is doing good in Japan? And someone told me taht with the R2 DVD release, there is extra 30 min footage. Is it true, anyone can confirmed?

I have also heard that the Japanese SSS DVD contains 30 minutes of extra footage and I think that Production IG announced it during the Anime Expo in America in June or July of this year.

I have also been wondering how successful Solid State Society has been doing in Japan?

If it's in japan, is it available on amazon.jp? O.k., it's propably just screening so.. it'd be what? 3-6 months before it's put to DVD?

It's to be released 24. November or some time around then, that's the Japanese DVD release. International is something like early 2007
