Your Collection! :D

Post by marto_motoko »

Alright, ladies and gents! It's time for you to post a picture of the things that you own from Ghost in the Shell. :) I care not about the format, nor anything, but please don't go off rambling things, because in all honesty, as rude as this'll sound, I care little if any for one's claims. This is the internet after all, and anyone can embellish on things untrue.

Seeing is believing I say, so let me see what you have! :3 I'll get working on mine right now as well.

Somehow I'm feeling that no one here will have as much as you, Marto.

:D Nice! Looking good.

Don't sweat it, because trust me, sometimes I feel like my fandom borders on stupidity and just mental illness.

Yesterday I spent $377.53 cents in order to obtain one of the 500 ever made Innocence: Gynoid Box Collection. I practically wanted to cry, since that was a huge chunk of my paycheck...

Granted, now I'm one out of 500 in the whole world, WHOLE WORLD, that own this. :3 You have no idea how satisfactory that feels.

I will soon also be ordering the Innocence: Methods Box, which comes with a ton of "How it was Made" stuff, some notes, sketches, and arbook of the first movie, two artbooks from Innocence (one of which is included with the Gynoid Box), and another special edition disk of the movie.
Here's what it looks like:
Image

That's only $80 some dollars, so that's easy. I just couldn't spend any more this month due to how costly the other thing was.

I know I won't be getting the Innocence: Type Motoko Box until at least Christmas since my mother still pampers me even though I'm an adult...:P
That box is amazing though... not sure of what else it comes with, but I know it does come with a Motoko Gynoid, dressed in Batou's vest, and his gun that she stole in the film.
Image
I however, do not know the other content of it.

And I already have the Innocence: Dog Box
Image
Which comes with a Music Box which plays the "River of Crystals" (the melody that the music box plays during the scene where Batou is in his appartment feeding Gabu), the special DVD for that box, and a cute box that has some gorgeous art of Gabriel! :)

O.o To be honest I never realized that my collection was indeed that big. I surely could have sworn someone would have trampled me. >_> An old member from here, now just a buddy (can't even remember what his screen name was for the forum) has a very extensive one. :3 His name's Jason. He's scary when it comes to Shirow/ GitS related stuff.

I've always considered myself a huge fan, but I guess I've just never really been much of a collector. Gotta give it to you guys though. Those are pretty sick. :)
