Anime films on British Satellite television

Post by Motoko2030 »

If anyone on the forums is from Great Britain and they have satellite television, I have found a schedule of Anime films being shown.

April 1 - Whisper of the Heart
April 2 - My Neighbor Totoro
April 5 - Whisper of the Heart
April 6 - My Neighbor Totoro
April 10 - The Little Norse Prince
April 11 - Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro
April 12 - Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind
April 13 - Laputa: The Castle in the Sky
April 14 - My Neighbor Totoro
April 15 - Princess Mononoke
April 16 - Kiki's Delivery Service
April 17 - Grave of the Fireflies
April 18 - Pom Poko
April 19 - Porco Rosso
April 20 - Only Yesterday
April 22 - The Cat Returns
April 21 - Whisper of the Heart

Got this from http://www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/newspr ... lApRbOLuan, just scroll near to the bottom of the page if the link doesn't take you directly to the schedule.

Grave of the Fireflies' story is good but very sad
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly ?

I used to like it when the Sci-Fi Channel showed the same 40 Manga Entertainment films over and over, one every Saturday at midnight. Even I managed to tape what I wanted when they showed the same film 5 times a year. They got good things sometimes too, what with the Goshogun film and RG Veda, Battle Angel and Bubblegum Crash. Not to mention the 4 part OVA version of Armitage III. Oh yeah, and GitS, Dominion Tank Police, and Appleseed! But they showed a lot of bad stuff too. It was an interesting lucky dip each Saturday.
I never knew they did that..... That would be awsome if they still did.
