She looks a bit...ugly. I don't know how well they can adapt Witchblade to anime, it might be cool but we'll just wait and see...

I didn't think she looked that bad. She kind of reminds me of the one woman/demon in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust who had power over trees and wood. I'd like to see an action figure based upon this anime incarnation of Witchblade.

character design doesn't look too bad if a little bit generic. this guy looks a bit like the cowboy bebop dude.

Funimation has acquired the Witchblade anime, according to an announcement by Top Cow's Matt Watkins last weekend at WizardWorld Philadelphia. Watkins also said Funimation is in talks with Cartoon Network to air the series on Adult Swim. Thanks, MDawg and Dai Kun.
