New GitS novels?

Post by houseneko »

Anyone else hoping for a new string of novels now that Arise is started? I'm really hoping that Arise becomes really popular and brings forth a GitS renaissance of games, manga, books, etc.

What would be your hopes for the new books? Same author?

Novels. Like books with text instead of pictures. Really there are some already? Must look now!
People tend to look at you a little strangely when they know you stuff voodoo dolls full of Ex-Lax.

Yeah there are 4 of them.

The three Stand Alone Novels which are really well done, and my personal favorite is Ghost in the Shell: Innocence - After the Long Goodbye - a very film-noir stylized novel that deals with the time period of Batou's parting with Motoko and how he's dealing with up, all the way up until the phone call that brings him to the very opening sequence of the Innocence film. It was handled superbly.

I highly recommend checking them out! :)
