Just wondered if anyone else had noticed the board has a strangely large amount of users who register but never post and that these users have very similar profiles in that they have a seemingly random ICQ number, one word awnsers for interests and occupation and a link under URL for a commercial site normally selling gambling, pharmacuticals or music. Could this prehaps be a spambot that's failing to post?
sorry, this probably should have gone under 'and more'.
Users who register but don't post = spambot?

Yeah, I've noticed this, too. In the last month or two I've begun removing inactive accounts and even active ones according to the following rules (posted in the Rules section):
-----------
If you register but don't activate your account for two weeks, it will be deleted and you will have to re-register.
If you register and activate, but your post count remains zero for a month, your account will also be deleted.
-----------
I haven't been really exacting about this, but I've been weeding things out a bit here and there. Also, I've been removing website links that obviously go to casino-this or meds-that.
