These days on the web 'tags' are commonplace ways of showing common threads and memes in communities and suchlike.

On forums I've been on it's often been tradition (even way back before all this web 2.0 junk) to have a list of tags in your sig to signify what affiliations, etc. you have. With all this talk of fan clubs and such-like I thought I'd give everyone an easy way to 'tag' their sigs to show their colours. Fell free to add any others you might think of. The basic idea is something like this:

[MKFC] [BFC] [NINf]

Indicating I'm affiliated with the Motoko Kusinagi Fan Club, the Batou Fan Club, and I'm a Nine Inch Nails fan (I borrowed that last one from somewhere else).

Tag your sigs!

So I could be the PPTMSTR ... er, PPTM$ ... er, PM (!!! Prime Minister !!!)

But Puppetmaster Fan Club couldn't be PFC--Private First Class!
