It is great that TCM channel is showing Anime movies every Thursday this month, I watched Spirited Away with subtitles yesterday and I was amazed on how good the movie was, the story line was outstanding, the art work was great and I liked watching it in Japanese with English subtitles.

Thanks for the listings of the Anime movies on TCM.

Yes. Thanks for that list Ghostline.

I've checked the listings everyday, allday through next thursday. And Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke will not be reaired. But god I hope your right because I wanna tape all the movies, and plus I fell asleep during Princess Mononoke :x

How is this possible?

I can't wait until next Thursday when they air Castle in the Sky. I will definitely be taping it.

Is it commercial free? I sure hope so.

Spirited Away was commercial free, so I expect that Castle in the Sky will be commercial free as well. I am looking forward in seeing Castle in the Sky as well.

I was looking through the movie listings of my TV guide a few days ago and the only movie that I noticed that had four stars was Princess Mononoke (Of course it might have been the only one I noticed because to me it was more eye catching than other movie titles).

Ironically, we just watched Princess Mononoke in my college's anime club on wednesday.

I am watching Princess Mononoke which i had recorded and it is one of the best anime movies that I have seen, the story line of Man against Nature, the art style were amazing.

I have never seen any of Hayao Miyazaki films until I watched Spirited Away on TCM.

I'll be taping the rest of the movies and Spirited Away when it reairs on March 25. However, as of yet, there is no reair date for Princess Mononoke. Your so lucky! I'm so mad that I fell asleep, I hope to god they deside to reair Princess Mononoke.

If not I guess I'll buy it. Which I don't have a problem with since I'm dieing to see what happens.

What are My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, Whisper of the Heart, Only Yesterday and Pom Poko like, I haven't heard of these until this posting about his films on TCM?

This is only my opinion, are the films that I have mentioned rare anime films that only die-hard anime fans would know about, since I have only heared about Spirited Away (since it won an oscar for best Animated), Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds and Princess Mononoke.

ghostline, if you want some REALLY tragic anime, you should see Grave of the Fireflies. What a tear-jerker.
