Haven't worked out any thoughts as to how it relates or anything but I figured you might be interested

I remember my sixth grade teacher reading us "Sadoko and the Thousand Paper Cranes", so I immediately thought of that in the "Kusanagi's Labyrinth/AFFECTION" episode.

The folding of origami cranes whit one hand are in relevance to the girl who the boy thought die as a last act

in reference to Sadako Sasaki/Senbazuru Legend
