It's been a while since I last posted... Well, that's what it feels like to me and I just wanted to see how all of you are doing?
Any new updates in your lives recently or new things going on?
How's it been?

How's it been?
"A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves." -- Lao Tzu.
Hey, hey, hey!
I'm good. Been in and out of the hospital last several months. I have multiple myeloma...in short, bone marrow cancer deemed incurable. Lots of chemo cocktails that have kept it at bay, but still it gets the best of me at times. My specialists are looking into CAR-T trials for me. We'll see. I'm doing good right now.
Also getting married. I know an Indian family in my church. Their sister (in-law) my age came to visit them for a few months from India and we just clicked. Had a good 5 months together and got engaged now a year ago. In the final stages of getting a fiancé visa, so hopefully she'll get here soon. I know the prospect of getting married is nuts at this stage, but she was really there for me when I was going through my second stem cell transplant and I attribute my recovery to her. Her family is very supportive (even though there is not a single non-Indian in the family, lol).
Life is good.

Bummer man, a friend of mine has MGUS and is seeing multiple myeloma as the next step so I know little of what you've been dragged through. Stick with those treatments tho, they can do amazing things these days. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!
At least the GitS news has been good
Also I scored one of those hard to find LEGO Saturn V models. Sold out all over here but I had family on vacation in UK and they found one in London. I'm visiting them this weekend and will come home with it. If my nephews haven't eaten it or something.
EDIT: Fixed typo and expanded acronym for clarity.

People tend to look at you a little strangely when they know you stuff voodoo dolls full of Ex-Lax.
MGUS? what is that and why does he have to see the MM? I'm assuming you mean "Doctor" but I am not sure. Anyway, I am feeling quite healthy and doing well, if you must know, thank you very much.Freitag wrote:Bummer man, a friend of mine has MGUS and is seeing MM as the next step so I know little of what you've been dragged through. I am glad you found a nice trinket in the UK. Also, if anyone didn't get the news, although I bet everyone already did, Ghost in the Shell has an unoficcial RP site right here: http://ghostintheshellrp.boards.net
There, now you can play RPs and stuff, but I am still working out some bugs and I am also trying to post up some guidelines on how to play a game. So far, not that easy, but I am getting there. First I gotta lay down the history.
