I'm looking for help. I'm a wanna be screenwriter, and won some compititions. But, I'm looking for a new angle in screenwriting.
I have only one question, since you are the ones who would be paying to see them.
What don't you want to see in a horror/supernatural movie?

Now I am going to go look out my window and see what the heck a police car thinks it is doing trying to play a tune with it's sirens... (I swear, they really are beeping out some kind of actual tune or song with them. It is too early in the morning to listen to policemen goofing around with their c...

hello
The philisophical questions of humanity are more emphasized in GITS. The what am I? Who am I? Where am I going? questions of humanity are more critical to the philosophy of the series. Motoko is in the quandry of what we all feel, and ever more so since she is now a cyborg. Making these questions mo...

Hello'
Oh I know that feeling very well. I've been a cop for over twenty years now. Also seventeen in the military, as both medic and forward observer. One of the problems we have, is that hind sight is always perfect. When we are young we see the world in the flowery version of what we percieve as good. T...

hello
One of the problems with live action film, is that internal dialoge does not translate over from book or anemie. Stephan King is one of the greatest examples. His books rarely carry over to film, due to his characters and his writing style being mostly internal dialog. Underworld is another one. Ple...

Hello
For the most part GITS is very close to what we use today. They still use bullets, tasers, and hand to hand when necessary. The body armor they use in the series is vastly superior, but that would be a normal progression. The camoflage they use is being developed, but for some reports the GITS would...

hello
I use to be a forward observer in the Pa. Army national guard. I've been out for about five years now, but the technology that exists in targeting acquisition is much farther then shown. And in many cases very similar to what GITS has shown. As a cop, the only difference between GITS and reality is ...

Hello
Science Fiction has alway's been a harbinger of the future. HG Wells, Jules Verne, Ray Bradbury, Gene Rodenbery they were all visionists who protrayed what teh future would hold. If not the technical part at least the human part.

On another board I belong to, www.kelleyarmstrong.com, we have a book of the month club, but sometimes we can get the author to field some of the questions and discusions. How about, if it's possible, to have a chat page where, if it's possible, the voice over artists, or even some of the teams invo...
