I didn't like it, very much. Compared to the earlier parts, it was simply bad. Too many ideas put in one movie. Mutant cure, Brotherhood getting restless, Phoenix awakened...And all those new characters with barely any screen time. It would have gone better, IMO, if they had concencrated solely on ...

Look, I feel sorry for anyone who feels the need to kill themselves over something like this. Really, it's not the insult that's at fault, it is whatever caused them to have such poor self-esteem in the first place. Okay, I guess the insult would be part of that. But you say I have to get used to w...

The horror... the horror... I'm mainly hoping for more anime movies or another anime TV series. A postcyberpunk movie or story that borrows the great ideas in ghost in the shell, like cyberbrains, organic to mechanised and then digital life, and the ehtical, social, and philisophical issues ...

Of course Batou has feelings for the major. Even Gouda picked this up, just from what he gathered on section 9 and his personal observations of how Batou acts towards her. This is hinted at subtly in many episodes, and very blatant in both season finales. I remember one scene at the end of episode 1...

Where's the "Stand Alone Complex" in 2nd GIG?
I just watched the remaining episodes of 2nd GIG yesterday and I still can't pin down how the concept of a Stand Alone Complex applies to Kuze and the revolt of the refugees. I know the individual eleven are stand alones due to their actions and ideology copying and being driven by a nonexistent ess...

I have final fantasy 10. The graphics and movies are awesome, but the two main leads annoyed the crap out of me. The storyline wasn't bad though. The summon animations got old the 2nd or 3rd time I watched them, especially if I use them in one random encounter after another. My vote goes to Final Fa...

Plus the hero of Deus Ex 2 was an obnoxious metrosexual skater punk. I choose the anarchy option because I believe that true freedom and inlusive democracy is something worth killing and creating the chaos of a revolution over. I didn't trust that creepy bastard helios any more than I liked the idea...

This one was pretty cool, they ratcheted up the action this time and everything is starting to fall into place. Though I wonder what the real reasons the American empire has for nuking Dejima, and how the acceleration of the security treaty would benefit them. Something tells me they wouldn't do som...

I distrust any source that talks about "energy transfer", which is considered by ballistic experts to be a bunch pseudoscience used to sell guns rather than give an accurate measure of performance.secondhandevil wrote:Sounds like a SS190. http://www.global-defence.com/2000/pages/herstal.html
