Trying not to sound condensending, but Richard Taylor is from WETA, which was mentioned...and he had been working on this project since LOTR ended. However, it got put into turnaround and this team did Master and Commander. Last word indicated it still was in turnaround.

I just started watching that one...and I stopped. I hated it. The animation was definetly unique...and it didn't work for me. It is way too jarring for my taste. It turned me right off.

TNG's ending was good...better than their first movie...better than the last movie. DS9 had a good ending to...Enterprise...Voyager, both sucked.
Good endings...

Some Animes have dowbeat endings because it fits. Others are down for no other reason.

The biggest problem with trying to gather factual accounts about the incident is that it is self-evolving.
