A friend of mine heard that the Eva live action movie is going to star Asuka in her time in America (before her introduction in episode eight of the series). I can only hope that this rumor is untrue, and if its not I'll be furious because I'll have been right that they screwed it up. A movie about ...

But what matter are we really "originally" composed of? I don't have a single cell, a single atom, even, that I had when I was born. The particles in human body are constantly changing. Some cells don't last a week and even the longest living ones only go onfor few years. After that, the ...

First off, recursive aura is my euphemism for 'self-awareness'. I love all these fancy euphemisms that at first make no sense. Euphimisms of this sort are pointless, they're just tools that philosophers who cannot express their views clearly use to make themselves seem more intelligent. If a philos...

I liked both Tails and Knuckles, but they each had several fundimental flaws. Tails never had a real ending in the same way that Sonic or Knuckles did, and in Sonic 3 it was next to impossible to beat Robotnic in Marble Gardens as tails. Though Knuckles could glide and climb, he also gets shafted wi...

My main problem with Mario is that he's such an unwieldy little italian, and he has to many controls in Super Mario World. I always liked Sonic the Hedgehog, he's much more graceful (well not in Sonic 1 or the game gear ones, but in the other ones) and the controls are eligantly simple.

When it comes to high school your pretty much damned either way. At one end of the spectrum their are the terrible inner-city schools where there is no order and no education (I've heard tale of people graduating from highschool and still being illiterate), and at the other end there is the kind of ...

When I was younger (15 and 16) I used to think that Rei looked pretty cute in her plug suit, but I have since outgrown that. I still like her as a character in that she developed from being a tool of Gendo and Nerv to being more of a real human being. In the End of Evangelion she ultimatly defies Ge...

I once saw a preview for X the Movie that touted it as being "From the Company that brought you Ghost in the Shell." That company was of course Manga Entertainment, the company that produced the english version, not the japanese animation studios that originally made the movies.

By my understanding of that particular incedent in Lebanon, the ex-prime minister was pro-democracy and he was probably assasinated by the pro-islamic rule group hezbola. The political situation in Lebanon is pretty screwed up, they have all of the trappings of a democratic government, but they are ...

Although, if a topic goes off in a really unsavory way, like we're talking about philosophy and some lunatic comes in out of nowhere ranting and raving about how evil GitS is and the subliminal messaging it contains and starts causing fights with everyone in the topic, then it's probably a good ide...

I'd have to say Sonic, or rather Super Sonic (or, in Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Hyper Sonic). He's so much more graceful than that unwieldy little italian that so many people love.
