I think the show started on kind of a childish foot. I thought it was going to be one of those shows like the card game ones where they just battle all the time and theres some evil person in the game or something. I was sorely mistaken. It definitely brings up a lot of good points about playing God...

I love both the Laughing Man and Catcher in the Rye. So many cool similarities between this and the manga. You can tell Shirow was a fan. Er Kamimya was a fan not Shirow. There's nothing in the manga related to Catcher in the Rye. All that started in the anime TV series. (There's also no Laughing M...

Could anyone post a link to a site where I could see it? I tried looking and I came up with nothing, and I really want to see the symbol. I haven't been paying attention to the 2nd Gig lately as this is a busy time in my life, but I plan on buying all the DVD's when they get released in the U.S. or ...

I agree with Bringin It Down that the main philosophy behind Ghost in the Shell is what exactly does make us human when in the Ghost in the Shell universe, humans can have prosthetic bodies, robotic limbs. Does having a soul and a conscious makes us human, like when the Tachikomas sacrificed their ...

So I just got done beating Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Gamecube again, and I have to say Ganons Tower and the Spirit Temple are super fun to play. Every single part of that game rules though. Also, I just picked up Morrowind for Computer (my Xbox version fizzled, after beating all the main and random...

On a much lighter note, I think creating different universes/timelines for certain anime serieses can be great. I really like the way they did it in the Gundam Series. I liked the 08th MS team and all the originals dealing with Zeon, but I'm glad they switched it up and made Gundam Wing, because I t...

I didn't mean to ruffle anyones feathers here, I was just stating what I learned in my (as childish as it seems) psychology class. I agree that good self image and self esteem should come from the inside out, but there are people who are incapable of feeling good about the way they feel, and sometim...

I've always thought about this as well. But then again, self image and self esteem is tied in with how others perceive you. So if someone thinks you don't look good or your body is weird or something like that, you can just go get a replacement chasis and it, quite possibly, could have a positive ef...
